CONSULTING, MENTORING & COACHING

Over the years, I have increasingly been asked to give advice, feedback, and guidance to animators, directors, and creative teams. What started as casual conversations has become something I now make space for more formally, so that I can give my full attention, and you can get the most out of it. I offer:

One-to-one mentoring for animators, model makers, filmmakers and creatives
Portfolio or showreel reviews, personal guidance, feedback, career support, funding advice etc.

Consulting for studios, businesses, and productions
Helping shape projects, creative approaches, and processes

Because time and focus matter, these sessions are structured and intentional to make sure you receive dedicated, considered input. The sessions are typically online but could be in person if needed and could include viewing an animatic or an edit, giving feedback on a showreel, talking about getting into the industry or how to go about developing and financing short films.

Sessions are usually £100 for an hour. For students, I offer a 50% reduction. I understand everyone is working with different circumstances and budgets, so I try to keep things flexible - if cost feels like a barrier, please don’t hesitate to get in touch so we can talk about what might work for you.

If you’d like to set something up, please email me. We can discuss what you need and find a time that works.

FEEDBACK

It was a pleasure to collaborate with Joseph on this project and above all the script consultation sessions were very useful for the development of the film.
— Clémence Pun, Producer, Hélium Films, Switzerland
I loved Joseph’s feedback for its sense of humor and sharp eye for even the smallest details. His deep knowledge of animation and respect for the medium made our project much clearer — he was a truly valuable consultant!
— Bára Anna Stejskalová, Animation Director, Divize Studios, Czechia
Joseph’s input on my research award from Arts Council Wales was invaluable, giving me a deeper understanding and insight into the process of stop motion animation.
